All The Countries UK Holidaymakers Can Now Visit Without Travel Restrictions Test

As of last week the UK government announced its list of 74 countries that UK nationals could travel to without facing quarantine on return - also known as travel corridors. 

However, there is still some confusion about which countries Britons can visit without facing restrictions on arrival, as the majority of the countries on the government’s list still have their own restrictions in place. 

Destinations such as Australia and New Zealand still have their borders closed to international tourists and Austria, the Netherlands, Cyprus and Japan have imposed restrictions on countries that have seen high levels of coronavirus, including the UK.

So basically, arrivals from the 74 countries on the list will not face quarantine in England - although Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have yet to announce if and when they will lift the restrictions.

However - irrespective of what the UK government says - each destination has its own rules on who can enter, and some countries may not permit UK nationals to enter, may have health screening and/or testing on arrival or may enforce quarantine. 

It’s worth remembering that the situation is constantly changing, with measures being lifted, altered or put in place in response to developments, so here is the list of 24 countries and overseas territories you can currently travel to (mostly) unfettered.

Andorra, Aruba, Belgium, Croatia (tourists must complete an entry form online in advance), Czech Republic, Denmark (tourists must provide evidence online of a holiday stay for six nights or more), Faroe Islands, France (arrivals from the UK are asked to carry out a ‘voluntary quarantine’ for 14 days (expected to be lifted 10 July), Germany, Gibraltar, Greenland, Italy and Vatican City, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Poland, Réunion, San Marino, Serbia, South Georgia and Sandwich Islands, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey.
